Job Description

Test, Qualify, and validate the firmware releases on the actual hardware solutions owned by the Embedded Systems group
Be able to assess the nature of the test failures - FW, SW or HW. Provide feedback to the team on test results
Help define the hardware platform for testing
Own the entire pipeline of FW and integration testing
Maintain and improve existing regression test suites
Design and architect overall test automation infrastructure
Validate features using different test methodologies - white and black box testing
The position requires excellent soft skills to be part of a cross functional team, excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 3 years and a Master s degree.
Good knowledge of integration testing of hardware and firmware for Embedded Systems.
Experience with various lab equipment - Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, DMMs etc.,
Experience in design and Automation testing for Embedded Devices
Coding experience in a high-level language - C, C++ and Python
Exposure to Linux internals

Preferred Qualifications

Experience architecting and building hardware infrastructure for testing is preferred.
Embedded Systems experience working on EtherCAT protocol is preferred
Understanding of CI/CD environment using Jenkins is preferred
