As a Senior Software Design Engineer, you will be developing new functionality and improving product quality. You will work closely with other specialists (Product experts, developers, testers, TA) across the team to ensure the developed feature is delivered with built-in quality. Responsibilities
- Working closely with product/technical experts, developers, agile testers, and TA during development.
- Estimate the effort and time required for various new feature development and bug resolution.
- Responsible for producing clear, efficient code based on features/user stories acceptance criteria.
- Participating in continuous improvement by proposing development practices, ideas, technologies to overall design and quality.
- Well versed with DevOps activities (raising PR/merging, sanity of Azure DevOps items).
- Identifying the opportunity for refactoring the code as part of continuous improvement.
- Proactively identifying/bug and providing resolution to improve the product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR Electronic & Communication Engineering.
- At least 5-8 years of experience as a Developer with proven expertise in product/software development.
Skills
- Excellent and clear understanding of OOPS.
- Experience in .Net framework and coding with WPF, C#, unit test framework, Roslyn.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging skills.
- Experience in the Industrial Automation domain (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with software versioning tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, and SVN.
- Experience in Agile development framework/methodology.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
