About Apna Dharm

ApnaDharm is India's first Temple & NGO ERP Core Platform, used by trusts to manage donations, 80G/10BD compliance, fundraising, inventory, events, accounting, and volunteer workflows. The platform digitizes spiritual institutions and enables transparency, efficiency, and better donor engagement. We are scaling rapidly across India and looking for a high-energy Sales & Marketing professional who can drive adoption among temples, trusts, and NGOs.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for lead generation, field outreach, demo presentations, customer onboarding, and closing deals.

The role requires communication skills, relationship building, grassroots understanding of temple/NGO functioning, and comfort with technology.

Key Responsibilities1 Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Identify potential temples, NGOs, and trusts across cities.
  • Build and maintain a lead pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Conduct cold calls, WhatsApp outreach, email campaigns, and partner referrals.
  • Attend religious community events to build networks.
2 Product Demonstrations
  • Understand ApnaDharm ERP modules deeply (donations, fundraising, inventory, accounting, events, compliance).
  • Conduct online + on-site demos for trustees, accountants, managers.
  • Explain the value proposition in simple, relatable terms.
  • Customise demos based on the trust's needs.
3 Consultative Selling
  • Understand operational pain points of temples (donation leakage, transparency, volunteer management, audit issues).
  • Recommend the right ApnaDharm modules and pricing plans.
  • Communicate ROI clearly compliance automation, reduced leakage, improved donor experience.
4 Marketing & Brand Growth
  • Create WhatsApp posts, flyers, short videos, and event-specific campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing team to run performance ads for temple onboarding.
  • Manage social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
  • Track metrics: leads, engagement, conversions.
5 Customer Onboarding & Success
  • Help new temples configure the platform: donation categories, users, bank mapping, fund requests, inventory setup.
  • Coordinate with product + support teams for smooth onboarding.
  • Train staff and volunteers on the mobile app & admin console.
  • Ensure customer retention and encourage usage of more modules.
6 Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
  • Build relationships with community leaders, religious groups, event organizers.
  • Develop partnerships with accountants, auditors, philanthropists, and community service groups.
  • Expand ApnaDharm presence at spiritual events and fundraisers.
Skills & QualificationsMust-Have
  • Basic experience in SaaS sales / field sales / ERP sales / NGO-tech.
  • Excellent communication in English + Hindi must.
  • Experience in giving demos and pitching to decision-makers.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, WhatsApp outreach, and digital communication.
  • Ability to understand customer workflows quickly.
Good to Have
  • Experience with temples, NGOs, religious trusts, community organizations.
  • Understanding of donation compliances (80G, 10BD, CSR).
  • Basic understanding of accounting, inventory, or ERP systems.
  • Prior work in early-stage startups or field-sales environments.
