Job Description

  • Sales & Business Growth: Proactively engage in selling SolidWorks software to both new and existing customers. Execute sales initiatives, including cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline management, to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with engineers and decision-makers to present SolidWorks solutions tailored to their specific needs. Conduct in-depth discussions with technical teams and management to identify areas for process optimization.
  • Lead Generation & Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and industry events. Expand the client portfolio by upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies within the assigned territory. Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting to ensure goal alignment and business growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and current clients. Work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical support, inside sales, and marketing, to enhance customer success and maximize sales potential.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain high ethical business standards by ensuring timely reporting and detailed documentation. Provide comprehensive monthly forecasts and sales reports to management.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with technical support teams to conduct product demonstrations, address customer inquiries, and facilitate deal closures. Ensure a seamless flow of communication between sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and unit sales targets. Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to drive business success.

Requirements

∙ Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (any stream) or related field.

∙ Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in mechanical design software or a technical sales environment.
