Software Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

Perform manual testing for web applications, APIs, and mobile interfaces.

Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.

Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout development cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

23 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing.

Strong proficiency in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience in both Manual and Automation testing.

Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Experience with test case creation, execution, and bug reporting.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.

Knowledge of Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
