Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in a defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and functionality.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality aspects.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 26-9 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
