Software Quality Engineer II - Selenium, Java

• Automate tests using homegrown and/or open-source test frameworks.
• Collaborate across teams to develop solution-based test plans and ensure feedback from different stakeholders is incorporated.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of other NCR Voyix product lines to assess their impact on the overall solution.
• Flexible work areas including Backend, UI, and API testing.
• Sustain current processes and implement new ones.
• Manage and maintain QA environments and plan for future improvements and support.
• Analyze user stories and business process requirements to estimate quality risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
• Strong knowledge of Agile development practices (especially Scrum), methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with Java or C# including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript in test automation.
• Mastery of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Expertise in Database concepts and testing using SQL/NoSQL.
• Performance functional test automation experience .
• Experience with web-based testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor, Playwright.
• Experience in SCM like Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Java.
• Experience in testing front-end, back-end, and API components of cloud-based and/or client/server products.
