Purpose of Function
As a Software Quality and information security Engineer, you will be responsible
for implementing and ensuring the fulfillment of the internal software development process for
project-specific software development activities and ensuring the implementation and adherence to information security standard ISO27001
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Implement and ensure adherence to Information Security Management (acc. ISO 27001)
- Process development and design in accordance with global process specifications
- Ensuring compliance of the Global Services software products according to Dräger's agile
- software development process
- Monitoring the quality requirements of Dräger's agile software development process
- Review and approval of the design and development plan
- Checking the completeness of the product documentation according to the process and approval
- for manual release
- Management of complaints and CAPA measures for software service products
- Audit management (preparation, implementation and follow-up of internal and external audits
- according to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001)
- Taking responsibility for product quality and good documentation practice
- Validation of quality-relevant software: ensuring the reliability of the product with the help of
- suitable development methods and tests
- Advising product owners on the effective and efficient application of processes and supporting
- process improvement
- Ensure Software Quality throughout development life cycle
- Define and monitor Quality targets
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with strong technical understanding
- Experience in working with international development partners
Functional / Technical Skills required in the role
- Knowledge of process management, document control, version control and change management
- Experience in common agile methods of software development and software quality assurance
Education & certification
- Degree in computer science, industrial engineering, quality management, software technology or a comparable course of study
- Very good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
- Knowledge if IEC 62304 would be added advantage
Relevant experience
- Around 10 years of professional experience in the areas of quality management, audit management, ideally in software development and information security management
