Software Quality Engineer

What you'll Do

• Develop and complete detailed test plans to guarantee software quality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to strictly adhere to quality standards.
• Craft and maintain automated test scripts for backend systems, focusing on Restful APIs.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with engineering teams to resolve them.
• Continuously improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you need to succeed

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA with at least 2 - 3 years of relevant industry and testing experience.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on backend automation.
• Hands on experience on Jenkins, GIT, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) etc.
• Expertise in testing Restful APIs and familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies.
• Must be having good analytical skills, problem-solving & communication skills, and good programming skills, preferably in Java.
• Knowledge of writing test plans for End to end workflows for SaaS solutions.
• Good knowledge of test methodologies like functional, black box, grey box, integration, performance testing etc.
• Exposure to end-to-end test management, able to work independently and own the project end-to-end.
• Passion for building high quality software products and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Product Development Experience in an Agile Scrum Team.
