This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from our office in Noida/Bengaluru (1 to 2 times/ week). Our office culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members, local and visiting, from other global offices.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to own end-to-end testing of complex, enterprise APIs, GUIs, and data workflows. This is a critical, hands-on role requiring a balance of deep technical knowledge across automation and manual testing, strong understanding of SDLC/Agile environments, and the ability to champion best practices in quality engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JavaScript, TestNG, BDD, and Nightwatch.js
- Execute manual and automated test cases for APIs (using Postman, Jest, Supertest) and front-end applications
- Conduct data validation as well as non-functional testing (performance with JMeter/Lighthouse, accessibility with WCAG standards)
- Translate product requirements into effective test plans, strategies, and prioritizations, actively participating in Agile ceremonies
- Mentor and support junior testers, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases
- Analyze complex systems, debug and diagnose defects, leveraging monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and OpenShift
- Log defects and track resolution, reporting on quality metrics, dashboards, and defect trends
- Validate data and implement SQL queries as part of E2E testing
- Utilize version control and participate in CI/CD pipelines via GitHub and Jenkins
