We are looking for a detail-oriented QA / Test Engineer with 2 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing and a good understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features and resolve issues
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
- Validate bug fixes and ensure timely closure
- Ensure software meets quality standards and client requirements
- Prepare test reports and provide test status updates
Required Skills
- 2 years of experience in Manual Testing
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
- Experience in testing Web and Mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (MantisBT, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
- Understanding of API testing (Postman is a plus)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong communication skills with proven fluency in English
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Performance or Security testing
- ISTQB certification (added advantage)
