Software QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand functional requirements and create detailed test cases for multiple software products
• Perform test execution for various releases across products
• Identify, report, and track defects in a timely and structured manner during the testing lifecycle
• Conduct various types of testing including:
• Sanity testing
• Regression testing
• Cross-browser compatibility testing
• Prepare and update automation test scripts and execute them when needed

Required Skills:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and test lifecycle processes
• Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent environments
• Organized and self-driven with the ability to meet project deadlines

Nice to Have (Optional) Skills:

• Experience in banking or financial services domain
• Familiarity with any test automation tool
• Ability to write basic database queries (SQL)
• Command line knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments

Educational Qualifications:

• BE / BTech / MSc (Computer Science) / MCA or equivalent degree in a relevant field
