Job Title: Software QA Engineer
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in the Software QA Engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing and analysis. The Software QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to identify bugs and issues in the software and provide recommendations for improvements.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and issues in the software
- Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques and test case execution.
- Strong experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in Software QA Engineering
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
