Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, software design, and application architecture, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable and high-quality applications.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications while mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical decision-making. The role requires strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and system requirements and prioritize development tasks.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using .NET technologies.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code using C# and related .NET programming languages.
- Develop technical specifications, application architecture, and system documentation.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Review existing code and perform refactoring to improve performance and maintainability.
- Deploy fully functional applications and support production releases.
- Upgrade and enhance existing software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Mentor and support junior developers by conducting code reviews and sharing best practices.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and development processes.
- Document development procedures, technical designs, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
Education
- BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
Certifications
- Microsoft Certifications will be an added advantage.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with ASP.NET and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Proficiency in C#, OOPS concepts, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database programming.
- Experience with Web API and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience in developing and maintaining web-based applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Experience
- 3 to 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Senior .NET Developer.
- Experience in the Airlines or Travel domain will be considered an added advantage.
