About The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to build modern ecommerce storefronts and AI-powered customer experiences. You will contribute to customer-facing applications built using modern frontend technologies while gaining exposure to next-generation AI-driven commerce solutions.
You Will Work Across Two Key Areas
- Ecommerce Storefront – Building high-performance web applications using React, Astro, and modern frontend technologies.
- AI Commerce – Contributing to AI-powered shopping experiences such as virtual assistants, personalized recommendations, and intelligent customer interactions.
Working closely with Product, UX, Backend, Data, and AI teams, you'll help deliver scalable, reliable, and engaging digital commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features from design through deployment.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using React and TypeScript.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL APIs.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers.
- Support production deployments, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and engineering automation.
- Continuously improve technical skills and leverage AI-assisted development tools.
Experience
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
Frontend Development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Experience with Astro is an advantage.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of responsive web development.
- Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and web performance optimization.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Experience integrating GraphQL APIs.
Development Practices
- Proficiency with Git and version control.
- Experience with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging techniques.
AI & Cloud (Nice to Have)
- Curiosity about AI-powered applications and LLMs.
- Exposure to Python.
- Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with Google ADK, LangChain, or similar AI frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices.
