Report Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP BO reports and dashboards. using Design Studio (1.6) / Lumira designer (2.0 / 2.1) with CSS and JavaScript.
- Should have experience in designing complex applications with: multiple tabs, multiple queries on a single screen, list and cross-tab reports, charts, hyperlinking.
- Perform analysis, design, implementation and support of WebI reports and Dashboard with RDBMS and SAP BW backend.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience in creating and managing universe withInformation Design Tool (IDT)in SAP BO
System Administration:
- Manage and administer the SAP BO environment, including user access, security, and performance tuning.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide ongoing SAP Business Object Production Support including enhancement of existing reports, monitoring periodic jobs and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and expertise of SAP BO CMC tool (Scheduling, Promotion, Authorizations, etc.)
User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end-users for report generation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP BO tools.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, dashboards, and processes.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BO features and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Experience in latest migration for SAP BusinessObjects (BO) upgrading fromBI 4.2 to BI 4.3 or BI 2025
- Full Time Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects development and administration.
- Proficiency in SAP BO tools such as Web Intelligence and Universe Design er.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP HANA or other SAP modules.
- Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies.
- Certification in SAP BusinessObjects.
