Responsibilities:
- Drive GenAI Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear vision for how GenAI can deliver business value. This includes identifying high-impact use cases with measurable ROI, such as enhancing customer experiences or optimizing internal operations.
- Bridge Technical and Business Domains: Translate complex AI concepts into actionable business insights. Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and executive leadership, ensuring alignment on goals, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage Executive Expectations: Balance innovation with realistic execution. Focus on delivering measurable outcomes while building the infrastructure needed for long-term AI success. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can guide teams through the evolving GenAI landscape, ensuring that innovation is both strategic and sustainable.
- Team Management & Mentorship:Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams across multiple technology domains. Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and best practices.
Required Experience & Education:
- 5 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise:Proficiency in Python and AWS is a must. Exposure to Generative AI either through hands-on experience or solid foundational knowledge is also essential. We re keen to evaluate their approach to solutioning, adherence to engineering best practices, and overall technical depth.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical initiatives.
- Design Thinking: Ability to architect and design scalable solutions. We ll assess how they approach system design when presented with real-world scenarios.
- Leadership & Management Skills: Proven experience in managing teams, driving delivery against timelines, resource planning, and handling complex project scenarios. We re interested in understanding how they ve led teams through ambiguity and change.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in healthcare is preferred. However, if the candidate isn t from a healthcare background, they should demonstrate a strong aptitude to learn and ideally have done some groundwork to understand the US healthcare ecosystem.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. We ll be looking for how they foster team culture and engage with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
