Software Engineering, MTS (Backend + Infra)

Your Impact
As a Backend Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Build new and exciting components/frameworks for distributed filesystems in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency
  • Develop high-quality, production-ready code used by millions of users of our cloud platform
  • Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud distributed filesystem environment
  • Code review, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team
Required Skills
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Mastery of programming language(s) and platforms
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripting languages: Java, Python
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL / Trino)
  • Experience developing SaaS products over public cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale
  • Proficiency in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution
  • Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong grasp of software development best practices with demonstrated leadership skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Big Data / ML and Amazon S3
  • Hands-on experience with streaming technologies like Kafka
  • Experience with Elasticsearch
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Experience working in a high-paced, rapidly growing multinational organization
