About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of engineering capabilities supporting Trade surveillance products, including Testing and Monitoring solutions. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and resilience of critical platforms that safeguard the enterprise. You will provide decisive leadership and work across organizational boundaries to continually elevate security, streamline processes, and enhance service quality for our technology and business partners.
As a transformational leader, you will collaborate closely with agile teams and product managers to deliver impactful outcomes through cloudnative architectures and modern engineering practices. You will bring deep technical insight into all components of the solution landscape and leverage that expertise to guide strategic decisionmaking. You will champion process improvements, operational excellence, and scalable capacity planning to ensure the organization is equipped to meet ongoing technical and business demands.

Lead the transformation of an established engineering team, elevating capabilities, embedding modern ways of working, and driving a highperformance, outcomesfocused culture.
Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders and product leaders to align with evolving business direction, influence technology priorities, and represent engineering in planning and decisionmaking.
Develop and manage engineering talent and leaders, ensuring delivery of highquality, modern, secure, and scalable solutions that adhere to architectural standards and nonfunctional requirements.
Guide technical strategy and modernization efforts by collaborating with architects and senior engineers to drive cloud readiness, application modernization, data strategy, and alignment to nextgeneration architecture.
Oversee engineering execution and operational excellence, including code quality, peer reviews, SDLC governance, risk management, security standards, roadblock escalation, and continuous process improvement.
Drive agile and DevOps practices, acting as an escalation partner for teams, removing impediments, fostering experimentation, and enabling predictable delivery across moderate to highrisk initiatives.
