Role Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications usingLaravel 9+andPHP 8
• Implement and manageLaravel Jobs, Queues, Events, and Listeners
• Develop and maintainPython-based applicationsand background tasks
• Debug, optimise, and refactor both legacy and new code for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate withQA, DevOps, and Product teamsto deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that's easy to understand and maintain

Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience working withLaravel (v9+)andPHP 8
• Hands-on experience withLaravel Queues, Jobs, and Worker setup
• Proficiency inPython scripting, including building job apps and schedulers
• Experience developing and integratingRESTful APIs
• Familiarity withMySQL or PostgreSQL
• Comfortable usingLinux-based environmentsandcommand-line tools

Good to have:

• Experience withDocker,CI/CD pipelines, orcloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity withtask scheduling tools(e.g., Celery for Python)
• Exposure tomonitoring toolsandlogging best practices
• Understanding ofapplication securityand performance optimisation
