Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize AWS services to design and implement robust cloud infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- CI/CD Tools and Source Control: Work with CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions, including Docker and Kubernetes, to enhance application scalability and reliability.
- Optimize Cloud Resources: Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Agile Framework: Operate within an Agile framework, participating in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, PI Planning, and Retrospectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to streamline deployment processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 to 8 years of overall Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages like Python, Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible.
- 3-5 years of experience with AWS services (e.g., EKS, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, CloudFront)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace)
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of database administration and optimization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML deployment workflows.
- Experience with databases like postgress.
