Digital Online is one of the key business units of Eurofins focused on delivering innovative digital and online technology solutions for global business operations. The team works on modern web applications, digital platforms, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise technology services to support Eurofins worldwide network across various business lines through dedicated and customer focused eCommerce Solutions.

Digital Online emphasizes innovation, scalability, automation, and user-centric digital experiences across various domains. Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Software Engineering Director with strong expertise in AI-powered engineering tools, digital transformation, and enterprise delivery management. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale engineering programs, drive innovation using AI-assisted development platforms, and ensure high-quality delivery across global teams.

This role requires a blend of technical leadership, delivery excellence, stakeholder management, and hands-on understanding of modern AI engineering ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering & Delivery Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end software engineering delivery across multiple programs and products.
• Define engineering strategy, architecture governance, and delivery frameworks.
• Manage large cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and project managers.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices across programs.
• Ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence.

AI & Engineering Tool Expertise:

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Evaluate and implement tools such as:
• GitHub Copilot
• OpenAI APIs and AI platforms
• Microsoft AI services
• Google AI/ML solutions
• Amazon AI services
• Enable AI-driven automation in coding, testing, documentation, monitoring, and deployment.
• Define governance, security, and compliance standards for AI-enabled development.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

• Partner with executive leadership, clients, and business stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps.
• Present delivery metrics, engineering health, and transformation initiatives to leadership teams.
• Build strong customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction.

Innovation & Transformation:

• Lead digital transformation initiatives leveraging cloud, AI, automation, and analytics.
• Establish engineering KPIs, operational excellence frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.
• Mentor engineering leaders and build high-performing teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and delivery management.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise-scale delivery programs.
• Strong experience with:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• AI/ML tools and platforms
• Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Enterprise architecture and scalable systems
• Experience managing global distributed teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Generative AI implementation in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and data security practices.
• Exposure to automation frameworks, platform engineering, and SRE models.
• Certifications in Cloud, Agile, PMP, or AI technologies are a plus.
