Software Engineering Associate Advisor

• Mainframe development and processing using COBOL. Experience with mainframe technologies - IBM z/OS ,JCL, TSO/ISPF.
• Creating scripts in Unix and maintain for QA and Production.
• Work on issue resolution, root cause analysis, and provide permanent fixes in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PostgreSQL, Oracle databases,
• Monitor Cron jobs and report and fix on any issues and provide timely communication with onshore.
• Participate in daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.
• Monitor logs in Cobol and should be able to edit/create datafiles and monitor for performance of scheduled jobs and report for any incidents.

Required Skills:

• 8-11 years of experience with hands-on experience in Unix,COBOL,React.js, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of SQL, with the ability to write complex queries.
• Stong knowledge in Unix scripting.
• Good to have knowledge on state management libraries like Redux.
• Working knowledge of tools like GIT, Jenkins, Sonar Qube,OpenShift.
• Knowledge of agile software development in life cycle methodology.
• Prior industry experience (Pharmacy, Healthcare, etc) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical teams.

Required Experience & Education:

• 8-11 years of experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
