Software Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation and AI-powered testing tools to support StonX's Funding as a Service (FaaS) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of funding, transfers, settlement, and reconciliation solutions through automated and intelligent testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test cases for funding, transfers, settlement, and payment workflows.
• Leverage AI-powered QA tools to improve test generation, test maintenance, defect prediction, and test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Perform API, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Ensure quality metrics, test reporting, and release readiness.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in QA Automation within BFSI, Payments, or FinTech.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as , Playwright ( min 2-3 yrs to strong exp) . Okay to have Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, or Karate.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled QA/testing tools (e.g., Copilot, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, ACCELQ, Applitools, or similar). is good to have
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and web applications.
