WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will design, implement, and manage the firm's
network voice and IP telephony infrastructure. You will also lead the
engineering project work and provide tier 2/3 operational support to
enhance the overall configurability, observability, supportability, and
reliability of the firm's enterprise unified communication environment.
You are required to develop and maintain automation to support our
voice and video infrastructure and assist with audio video (A/V) and
conference room related projects. Additionally, you are responsible to
upgrade and/or redesign existing infrastructure to improve
performance and stability. Furthermore, you will mentor and guide
team members, fostering a
collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Additionally, you
get to manage projects from requirements gathering through to
delivery, ensuring timelines and objectives are met and collaborate
with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated
communication solutions.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should hold –
Basic Qualifications
─ A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT Electronics and
Communications or a related technical discipline, with 6 - 10 years of
experience in the voice domain
─ Extensive hands-on experience with voice technologies, preferably
Cisco, including but not limited to Communications Manager, Unity
Connection, Webex Control Hub, Expressways, Voice Gateways, Cisco
Webex, and IP Phones
─ A strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP,
DNS, DHCP, and TFTP
─ Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools like RTMT and
Dialed Number Analyzer, and a solid understanding of IP telephony
protocols such as SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP, and RTCP
─ Familiarity with scripting to support and enhance automation
─ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize
multiple tasks
─ Effective verbal and written communication skills
─ Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring team members
