About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer specializing in UI development to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this senior-level role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, responsive user interfaces that enhance our product offerings. You will be responsible for defining UI architecture strategies and ensuring the implementation of best practices across projects. While this role does not involve direct team leadership, it requires a proactive approach to collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA, and security specialists. Your expertise will contribute significantly to delivering seamless, innovative, and secure user experiences that align with our company's strategic objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with a proven track record in senior technical roles. A strong background in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) is essential, along with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js. Experience with TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines is necessary. Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, identity security, authentication, and access management will be considered a significant advantage. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is mandatory. Experience working within cybersecurity domains, including SIEM, SOC, SOAR solutions, and IAM platforms, will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic guidance on UI architecture, frameworks, and tooling to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to define and deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences that meet business objectives.
- Code Excellence: Write, review, and optimize clean, maintainable, and high-performance code, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and security.
- Performance Optimization: Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth and responsive user interactions.
- Security Best Practices: Implement and advocate for secure coding practices, ensuring UI components are robust against cybersecurity threats.
- Testing: Define and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring reliability and quality.
- Tooling and Efficiency: Continuously evaluate and improve UI development tools and frameworks to enhance team productivity and output quality.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support development, maintenance, and future enhancements, with a focus on accessibility.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and cybersecurity trends, proposing innovative solutions to improve the product.
