The Impact you will have in this role:

IT Architecture and Enterprise Services are responsible for enabling digital transformation of DTCC. The group manages complexity of the technology landscape within DTCC and enhances agility, robustness and security of the technology footprint.

It does so by serving as the focal point for all technology architectural activities in the organization as well as engineering a portfolio of foundational technology assets to enable our digital transformation.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (TFE) for automated provisioning and configuration of environments
• Create and manage Ansible playbooks, Chef cookbooks to automate IaC-related tasks
• Create, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks and processes
• Handle TFE Pipelines / CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins or GitLab runners within GitLab CI/CD
• Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of automation with CI/CD pipelines and in-house build tools
• Contribute to cloud strategy discussions and decisions on overall cloud design and the best approach for implementing cloud data solutions
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the automation process
• Adhere to standard methodologies for incident, problem, and change management
• Demonstrate reliability and accountability for the completion of assigned tasks and take necessary actions to continuously meet required deadlines and goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms, including compute, storage, and network architecture and engineering (AWS is mandatory)
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, VPC and SSM Documents
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery design, planning, and implementation in the cloud
• Ability to handle tasks and projects independently with minimal guidance and direction
• Capable of researching, designing, documenting, and implementing new automation solutions independently
• Experience working with Python, Groovy, and Git is a plus
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
