Software Engineer - Software lifecycle requirements management

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Support gathering and analysis of customer requirements through meetings, discussions, workshops, and review of requirement documents.

• Document and maintain customer/system requirements in IBM DOORS, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, consistent, and properly structured.

• Maintain requirements traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, design, test cases, and verification results using DOORS links.

• Perform requirements reviews and quality checks to identify missing information, ambiguities, inconsistencies, duplicates, and traceability gaps.

• Support requirement changes by updating requirements, attributes, links, baselines, and related documentation in DOORS.

• Coordinate with senior engineers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and support timely resolution of requirement-related issues.

• Prepare requirements status and traceability reports and support project teams in maintaining requirement baselines, version history, and documentation

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• BCA/B.Sc.

Experience :

• 4-5 years

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• IBM DOORS - hands-on experience in Requirements Management

• Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, Documentation and Validation

• Requirements Traceability and Traceability Matrix

• Requirement Reviews and Quality Checks

• Change Request and Impact Analysis

• Baseline, Version and Configuration Management

Preferred Skills :

• Customer and Stakeholder Management

• Good analytical, communication and documentation skills
