Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with experience in cloth simulation systems and geometry. This role focuses on geometric computation, cloth simulation, and high-fidelity garment modeling within CAD-integrated workflows. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in C#, .NET, and Unity, along with a deep understanding of physics-based simulation and geometric algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced 3D simulation systems for virtual garment applications.
- Implement Point of Measure (POM) algorithms to enable precise geometric computation and measurement evaluation.
- Develop and optimize 2D geometric algorithms supporting CAD-based garment workflows.
- Build and maintain constraint-based solvers for cloth, soft body dynamics, and CAD constraint systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Agile development teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software.
- Support integration with in-house CAD systems to ensure high-fidelity garment modeling and measurement accuracy.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and Unity.
- Experience developing 2D/3D geometric algorithms and physics-based simulation systems.
- Solid understanding of CAD, constraint solvers, and soft body dynamics.
- Experience working with geometric computation and mesh-based modeling.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in virtual garment, fashion tech, or digital textile simulation.
- Knowledge of numerical methods and computational geometry.
- Experience optimizing simulation performance for real-time applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
