Role : ServiceNow Developer
Exp: 5+ yrs
Location : Chennai - WFO All 5 days
The candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, and optimizing modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to business needs.
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST, SOAP APIs, and MID servers.
Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Orchestration, and Automation workflows.
Develop custom applications and modules within ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow best practices.
Optimize performance, security, and scalability of ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, and Configuration Management workflows.
Configure HRSD workflows to automate and improve employee experiences.
Develop ITOM capabilities including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and AIOps.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow modules.
Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and ITOM modules.
Strong experience in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Workflows.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools.
Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog customization.
Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal customization.
Experience with Performance Analytics and Reporting in ServiceNow.
ITIL v3/v4 certification is a plus.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
