Software Engineer (ReactJS)

Job Responsibilities

• Support the network team in implementing network automation initiatives, including network provisioning, monitoring, and operational processes.

• Develop and maintain network monitoring dashboards to improve visibility and monitoring capabilities.

• Manage and maintain network monitoring systems, tools, and applications.

• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and enhance applications using Python, JavaScript, UNIX scripting, SQL, and related technologies.

• Understand, integrate, and troubleshoot REST APIs and system APIs.

• Maintain and modify existing applications based on approved requirements and change requests.

• Develop programming logic, update technical documentation, and implement coding changes.

• Design, develop, and execute application testing and enhancements.

• Write new program code based on functional and technical specifications.

• Provide BAU production support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous enhancements for existing systems.

• Work with network and infrastructure teams to resolve application and monitoring-related issues.

• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and respond to production incidents when required.

• Perform other duties and technical assignments as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on programming experience with Python, JavaScript, UNIX/Shell scripting, and SQL.

• Familiarity with web application technologies, such as ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience developing or supporting applications in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, SNMP, and network monitoring.

• Understanding of API integration, preferably REST APIs.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
