Role Overview:

We are looking for Performance Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking applications, mobile and internet banking, APIs, and microservices. The role focuses on validating Non-Functional Requirements under peak-load conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance testing strategies for digital banking, mobile, API, and microservices applications.
• Define and validate NFRs covering response time, throughput, scalability, concurrency, and resilience.
• Develop performance scripts and workloads using JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or equivalent tools.
• Execute load, stress, spike, endurance, failover, and capacity testing.
• Analyze bottlenecks across UI, API Gateway, microservices, middleware, databases, and infrastructure.
• Use observability and APM tools to identify root causes of performance degradation.
• Prepare performance reports, recommendations, and executive summaries for release approvals.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Performance Engineering and Non-Functional Testing experience.
• Strong expertise in performance, load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or similar tools.
• Strong experience testing REST APIs, microservices, mobile, and web applications.
• Understanding of API performance, database performance, JVM tuning, connection pooling, and caching.
• Experience with high-volume banking, payment, digital onboarding, or corporate banking platforms.
