We are seeking a versatile and skilled professional with expertise in Python, Databricks, and React to develop scalable data solutions and interactive web applications. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and front-end development, enabling seamless access to insights and analytics through modern interfaces.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Backend & Data Engineering (Python, Databricks):
    • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Databricks (Spark)
    • Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation for analytics and reporting
    • Optimize data workflows and ensure scalability and performance in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
    • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to operationalize machine learning models
  • Frontend Development (React):
    • Design and build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React.js.
    • Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and data services
    • Ensure a seamless user experience for data visualization and interaction
  • Collaboration & DevOps:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and UX designers
    • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and agile development practices
    • Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Apache Spark and Databricks for big data processing
  • Solid programming skills in Python, especially for data processing and API development
  • Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and version control (Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Plotly) or BI tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Airflow).
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows and model deployment.
