Software Engineer/Programmer

We are hiring a Software Engineer/Programmer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for our products.

About the role

You will work closely with product, design, and QA to deliver reliable features in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time opportunity based in Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs using modern backend practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code
• Work with relational databases, caching, and cloud infrastructure basics
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and production deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience building APIs and integrating third-party services
• Understanding of SQL databases and basic system design
• Good problem-solving ability and clear communication skills
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven systems
