Job Role - Software Engineer PHP
Job Location - Chennai, Anna Salai
Experience - 5 to 7 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Mentoring:
o Lead development efforts for key projects, providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
o Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
o Design and implement complex systems, architectures, and integrations for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Backend Development:
o Design and implement scalable and efficient server-side applications using PHP (Laravel, Symfony) and other frameworks.
o Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
o Optimize backend code for better performance, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.
Database & Data Management:
o Design and manage MySQL or NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal data storage and retrieval.
o Create and maintain complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
o Handle database migrations, backups, and schema changes as part of the development lifecycle.
Front-End Integration:
o Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements built with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. o Ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
Web Services & API Development:
o Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs with oAuth authentication.
o Integrate with third-party APIs, ensuring secure and efficient communication with external systems.
Code Quality & Optimization:
o Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization techniques.
o Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software design patterns (e.g., MVC, OOP).
o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and security vulnerabilities.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
o Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
o Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in software development.
o Contribute to the improvement of development workflows, tools, and processes.
