Join us as a Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer specialising in Oracle PLSQL and SAP Data Services to join our team
You'll be an integral part of our plans to strengthen the Data Platforms team, as you deliver solution designs, prototypes, implementation and run the bank support for our data platforms

What you'll do

This role will see you designing and developing data warehouse solutions using Oracle PLSQL and SAP Data Services
You'll create and maintain data models to support business requirements and improve data quality along with providing technical analysis support for change requests and incidents
We'll look to you to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions to support our business partners
You'll also optimise data warehouse performance and ensure efficient data retrieval and processing

Additionally, you'll:

Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data consistency and integrity
Implement data quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Document data warehouse design, development, and maintenance processes for future reference
Work closely with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide support and maintenance for existing data warehouse solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues

The skills you'll need

We're on the lookout for someone with proficiency in Oracle PLSQL, SAP Data Services and database management
You'll have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
It's crucial that you're fluent in English, with strong communication skills and have an analytical mind-set

You'll also need:

Minimum of five years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, with a strong focus on Oracle PLSQL and SAP Data Services
Experience with ETL tools and processes, including data extraction, transformation and loading
Expertise in data modelling and database design such as Kimball
Familiarity with banking industry data and regulatory requirements
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
