Software Engineer
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid) The Opportunity: Early-career growth in a high-precision
environment.
Must have: A Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering from a Tier-1 institution (IIT, NIT, BITS, or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
The Mission
At OpEase, we don't just build web apps; we build tools where logic meets anatomy. As a Junior Engineer, you will transition from academic theory to professional-grade systems engineering. You will be part of an agile team solving architectural puzzles that require a first principles approach to software design.
The Engineering Challenge
In this role, you will be mentored by senior leads to own modular components of our stack. You won't be stuck in a maintenance loop; you will be expected to:
- Write Production-Grade Logic: Transition from solving competitive programming problems to building scalable, stateful backend services.
- Master Design Patterns: Apply SOLID principles and Object-Oriented Design to create a codebase that is as elegant as it is functional.
- Optimize Data Flow: Assist in designing schemas and API contracts that handle complex surgical datasets with high efficiency.
- Collaborate on Infrastructure: Get hands-on experience with cloud-native deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines.
What We Look For
We value foundational excellence over a long list of technologies. If you have the IIT/NIT rigor, you likely already have what we need:
- Algorithmic Fluency: You have a deep, intuitive grasp of Data Structures (specifically Trees, Graphs, and Hash Maps) and can explain time-complexity trade-offs instantly.
- Coding Discipline: You write clean, readable code and have a strong preference for typed languages and structured OOP.
- Problem-Solving DNA: You enjoy the grind of debugging complex systems and don't stop until you understand the root cause of a failure.
- Academic Pedigree: A Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering from a Tier-1 institution (IIT, NIT, BITS, or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
Why Join OpEase
- Zero Bureaucracy: We have a flat structure. If your logic is sound, your code goes to production.
- Mentorship: Work directly under leads who value technical depth and The Right Way of building software.
- Real-World Impact: Your very first commit will contribute to a platform used by surgeons globally for critical decision-making.
