Associate Vice President-level Software Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust software solutions.
Works within feature teams to deliver complex applications, dashboards, and automations across the full software lifecycle.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, and business analysts to optimise software engineering capabilities and enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy applications capable of handling high load, performance, and availability requirements, including benchmarking and load balancing.
Produce high-quality software and dashboards that deliver measurable business value.
Participate in the full software lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Optimise software engineering processes and capabilities within feature teams.
Design and implement dynamic workflows and process automations using Oracle Process Automation (OPA).
Develop, tune, and style VBCS dashboards, including VB Extensions, ensuring high usability and performance.
Apply OCI Generative AI services, agent-based AI techniques, and Python-based machine learning to enhance solution functionality.
Develop SQL/PLSQL solutions on Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and produce BI Publisher (BIP) reports for Oracle ERP Cloud.
Required Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, building, and optimising complex VBCS applications and dashboards.
Hands-on experience with OIC integration, BIP reports, FBDI, HDL data loader, and bulk data load jobs.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
Experience with PCS workflow, BPM 11g, and Oracle Process Automation (OPA).
Familiarity with applying AI/ML techniques (Python) to enhance software solutions.
