International Wealth Management Technology builds and maintains software solutions used by the International Wealth Management Business. The business is spread across Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and is in the business of such as Lending and Credit Solutions (LCS), Investment Products and Advisory Solutions IPAS), Front Office and Operations

IWM IT a team is an integral part of the global team, which is spread across SUS, UK, Tokyo, Singapore, HK, India and China. It works in partnership with the regions to deliver technology solutions to IWM business across regions prioritized in Global Book of Work. The IWM IT build and supports Core Banking solution, provides architectural solutions for Front Office and Operation, Lending and Credit desk and Investment Products and advisory desk.

Job Description:

This is an individual contributor role for a Full Stack Developer who will contribute towards the design and development of the Web application for a greenfield application that will be used by the IWM Business.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices usingSpring Bootframework
• Implement business logic, service layers, and data access layers following best practices
• Develop and maintain server-side applications with Java
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Write unit tests and integration tests using Junit and associated frameworks
• Develop and maintain web applications usingReact JSand associated frameworks
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Design and implement database schemas for relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance
• Partner with analysts across Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai to understand the requirements and to define solutions.
• Support resolution of production and user issues, application testing and maintenance releases.
• Partner with stakeholders for testing and implementation of the deliverables.

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Technology or equivalent degree in Computer Science.

• Minimum of 6-9 years of hands-on Java development in an enterprise environment.
• Java: Java 17+, Collections, Spring Boot 4+, Spring Data, Spring MVC, Multi-threading, Java Streams API, Concurrency, JPA, JMS, profiling, garbage collection
• Experience in building Restful Web Services.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns.
• Proficiency in Relational database design and Sql development. Preferred databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle
• Unix: bash scripting, system and process monitoring
• Working knowledge CI/CD, GitLab Pipelines.

• Design, Develop and maintain web applications using React JS and associated frameworks (Redux, React Router, etc.)
• Proficient in responsive designprinciples and mobile-first development
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Proficiency withReact Hooksand functional components
• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries
• Data Fetching: React Query Library (Tanstack), Axios, Redux Toolkit.
• Proficiency inHTML5,CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks - Material-UI, Styled Components, etc.
• Experience withRESTful APIsand asynchronous request handling
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Vite, Babel, npm/yarn)
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing using Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Strong experience withSQLand relational database design
• Hands-on experience with databases likeMySQL,Oracle, orSQL Server
• Experience writing complex queries, joins, indexes, and stored procedures
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices
• Work with version control systems (Git) and participate in agile development processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the stakeholders and the global team.

Preferred Skills

Technical:

• Knowledge of Docker/Podman and Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
• Cloud: Experience with AWS, S3

• Streaming: Kafka/Pulsar, streaming / reactive programming, serialization protocols

• Next.js, GraphQL

Functional:

• Knowledge of Banking domain, Experience or Certification in Capital Market
• Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, FX asset classes.
