Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own feature delivery end to end: break down moderately complex requirements, propose design options with tradeoffs, implement, test, and ship to production with minimal supervision
  • Modernize legacy modules: lead incremental migration of ASP.NET Web Forms (ASPX) components to .NET (Core/.NET 6+), using seams/strangler patterns, automated tests, and staged rollouts
  • Raise code quality and reliability: write clean, secure, performant C# and TSQL add unit/integration tests champion code review standards and targeted refactors that reduce tech debt and improve observability
  • Operational ownership: contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), define meaningful dashboards/alerts, participate in oncall/incident reviews, and drive postmortem actions to closure
  • Design contributions help shape component and datamodel designs (API contracts, caching, indexing), document decisions (ADRs, diagrams), and socialize patterns within the squad
  • Front end collaboration: implement or review JavaScript/TypeScript changes and integrate with React/Angular components with attention to accessibility and performance
  • Security & compliance by default: apply secure coding practices, secrets management, leastprivilege access, and support audit evidence through build/deployment pipelines
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of building services/web apps with ASP.NET / .NET (Core/.NET 6+), C#, and SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS exposure to React or Angular
  • Proven solid OO design, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework/Dapper, and Git (branching, PR reviews)
  • Proven hands on with unit/integration testing (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest), CI/CD, and basic observability (structured logs, metrics, tracing)
  • Proven problem solving, communication, and cross team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience migrating legacy ASPX to .NET 6+ with minimal downtime and measurable risk reduction
  • Practical familiarity with containers/cloud deployment (Docker/Kubernetes/AWS)
  • Proven performance tuning across app/DB (profilers, async, indexing, query plans)
  • Proven applying secure by design practices (OWASP Top 10 mitigations, threat modeling basics).
