Role Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on Marketo Engage experience to independently manage the full campaign and event execution lifecycle. The role covers everything from program setup and asset creation to testing, scheduling, and reporting for B2B marketing campaigns and events.

The ideal candidate can pick up a campaign brief and execute it end-to-end - building programs, emails, landing pages, UTM links, smart lists, and running QA - with minimal hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review campaign briefs and translate requirements into Marketo programs, workflows, and execution steps
  • Build and configure Marketo programs across email, event, and webinar campaign types
  • Create emails using provided templates - tokens, personalization, links, test sends
  • Build and publish landing pages and Thank You pages; configure forms and field mappings
  • Set up UTM parameters and tracking links; attach to all LP URLs
  • Configure smart campaigns with triggers, filters, and flow steps for audience targeting
  • Build smart lists and apply exclusion logic for multi-send campaigns
  • Integrate and operate event platform workflows - Splash, ON24, iCapture
  • Configure registration flows: confirmation emails, reminders, follow-ups, no-show workflows
  • Monitor attendee sync and lead status updates across connected platforms
  • Execute A/B test campaigns; monitor performance and share results
  • Execute test sends and perform full pre-launch QA before campaign activation
  • Schedule and activate campaigns per approved timeline
  • Generate and share campaign performance reports - opens, clicks, registrations, attendance, conversions
  • Configure Marketo dashboards and reports as needed
  • Manage post-event workflows: follow-up emails, survey sends, no-show sequences
  • Maintain documentation for each program: setup steps, logic, and dependencies
  • Follow up with stakeholders to collect missing assets, audience lists, or content
