About The Role
We're developing next-gen tools and platforms from artist-focused products to pipeline automation. We're looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys crafting scalable systems, thrives in creative environments, and is curious about how
AI/ML (especially agents and intelligent automation) can augment human creativity. Here, your engineering will directly support artists and storytellers. You won't just build infrastructure you'll help shape the future of how stories are imagined and brought to life.
What You'll Do
- Design and build robust backend systems and APIs for our internal tools and creative products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from artists to AI engineers to understand needs and ship effective solutions
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Integrate AI/ML services and tools into backend workflows (e.g., inference pipelines, smart agents)
- Contribute to overall backend architecture and system design thinking
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in backend development (Python preferred; Go, Node.js, or similar are a plus)
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), and microservices
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Interest or experience in AI/ML whether through experimentation, prototypes, or production use
- A Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech in CS, IT, or related fields) is preferred
Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI, etc.)
- Familiarity with animation/VFX production pipelines or creative tools (Unreal, Blender, Houdini, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source or side projects relevant to creative tech
