Microsoft Outlook Mobile Web App and Outlook Monarch Web client for Desktop are changing how the world works through mobile and desktop email. As professionals continue making the leap to mobile, we empower them to be more responsive and get more done from anywhere. In a world where more than half of email messages are first read on a mobile device, it's essential to give people fantastic email experiences wherever they go. The Outlook Mobile Web App team is passionate about this quest and provides innovative ways to focus on what's important in your inbox, to schedule meetings, and work with attachments and files on mobile smartphones and feature phones. The Outlook Web Desktop client builds on these experiences for a seamless experience on Big Screen.
These experiences are built using industry relevant technologies like React JS to ship to the broadest set of platforms possible. Our experiences are backed by Azure and Microsoft Graph-based services giving us scale, agility, and access to a wealth of data. These products use modern front-end frameworks like React JS and make a huge impact on how people collaborate and communicate. We follow agile feature development methodology to deliver customer winning features in matter of days.
Our work extends to winning new users for Outlook and creating new user behaviours through developing GenAI based co-pilot features and many more.
Our team is looking for an experienced SDE to build a bunch of interesting experiences across the portfolio of Outlook mobile web/Desktop apps which spans Outlook on mobile, Outlook as a Browser extension, Outlook Desktop.

Responsibilities
- Will be designing and delivering new features that power how people interact with email, Calendar, GenAI.
- Will apply modern UI design principles and ensure the best experience across all applications in the suite
- Will Work with PM and UX to prototype and ship features on Outlook,

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Have 1+ years of software design and development experience
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
- Working experience in web application development for online services/large scale systems
- Comfortable with modern programming language and web frameworks like ReactJS
- Will be designing and delivering new features that power how people interact with email, Calendar, Address book, GenAI and features tailored for Emerging Markets.
- Will apply modern UI design principles and ensure the best experience across all applications in the suite
- Familiar with constructs on Azure API usage and backend integrations with Data Systems, Identity systems and Azure Services will be a plus
- Experience with Android and iOS development is good to have. Not mandatory.
