We exist to solve this. As Firi, we collect reviews on the internet from sources users already trust (Reddit and select Youtube channels) at scale. This means that we understand each product - who it works for and what it does - through thousands of reviews and full ingredient lists, instead of relying on one creator's opinion or marketing claims made by brands.

We use this intelligence to only stock the most repurchased beauty products in the world! And match them to users based on users past purchases, skin tones, skin types, age, gender, weather, skin conditions.. you get the gist.

About the role

This is a founding team role. As a Machine Learning Developer, you'd be responsible for shaping Firi's tech products. You will work closely with Designers, Frontend & Backend to create seamless user experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Refine AI agent frameworks with tool-calling, multi-step planning, and context engineering
• Architect high-performance systems for personalised, reliable interactions at global scale
• Build and optimize data pipelines using real-time user signals to continuously personalise the product
• Scale and fine-tune search and recommendation engine to achieve minimal latency and frictionless user experiences
• Dream up and craft delightful, intuitive user experiences that redefine how people shop with AI

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in building applications using Machine Learning (more recently using LLMs) at a product company
• Proficient in Python
• Expert in PostgreSQL
• Passionate about AI's transformative potential and committed to building indispensable tools users rely on daily
