Software Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in email platforms or communication systems, along with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation. This role requires deep technical expertise in email protocols and a passion for translating complex systems into clear, user-friendly documentation.

What you'll be Responsible for

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable email and communication systems to support high-volume messaging needs
• Implementing and managing email delivery solutions using platforms.
• Developing and integrating APIs for triggering and managing transactional and campaign-based emails
• Working with core email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) to ensure reliable message delivery and retrieval
• Monitoring system performance, debugging delivery issues, and optimizing for reliability, latency, and deliverability
• Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including - API documentation. Product manuals and Integration and onboarding guides.
• Continuously improving system architecture and documentation processes based on feedback and evolving business needs
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure documentation and system behavior align with product features.

What you'd have

• Proficiency in Proficiency in at least one programming language such as (Java, Spring Boot).
• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferred SaaS / CpaaS based platforms.
• Strong understanding of email systems and protocols, including SMTP, IMAP, and POP3, Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
