Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven engineer who has zeal to build enterprise ready products to join the
Virtualization engineering team, responsible for building and enhancing scalable on prem or cloud native VM life cycle management solutions. In this role, you will own
endtoend delivery of featuresfrom design and development to testing, automation, and production readiness. This role provides opportunity to collaborate closely with senior engineers and crossfunctional partners, and contribute to the reliability, scalability, and quality of largescale cloud platforms.
Job Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and components for the virtualization solution platform
- Own features endtoend, including design, implementation, unit/integration testing, automation, and supportability
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Build and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality and regression coverage
- Debug and resolve complex issues in development, test, and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
- Continuously improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the system
Required Skills
- Strong handson experience in Java and J2EE technologies
- Experience building distributed systems or cloudbased platforms
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and objectoriented design
- Handson experience with testing and automation (unit, integration, system tests)
- Experience with Linux environments, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and hypervisors like KVM, hyper-v, Xen etc, storage and protocols like ISCSI, NFS, FC, NVMe
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Ability to take ownership and drive tasks independently to completion
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud management platforms (e.g., CloudStack, OpenStack, Kubernetes ecosystems) is preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years of experience or Master's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
