Overview
The Engineering Team at Park Place Technologies, India is hiring a Software Engineering Intern Backend to help build and ship innovative products using the most modern tech stack to solve real world problems at scale.
This internship is designed for early in career engineers and experienced interns who already have hands-on backend development experience and are eager to grow by working on real, production-grade systems. You will contribute directly to building services that support business-critical workflows, while learning how scalable systems are designed, built, tested, and operated by experienced engineering teams.

What you will do
- Build and enhance backend services and APIs used in production.
- Contribute to cloud-hosted applications and understand performance, reliability, and security considerations.
- Write unit and integration tests and actively participate in code reviews.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and write efficient queries.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.
- Debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help improve system stability.

- You deliver backend features with increasing independence.
- Your code is readable, testable, and production ready.
- You demonstrate ownership of modules or services by the end of the internship.
- You actively seek feedback, adapt and apply quickly.
What we're looking for:
- 1+ year(s) of technical engineering experience through internships, full-time roles, co-op programs, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Engineers with strong fundamentals, not prompt engineers with shortcuts
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies:
- .Net, C#,
- Web API, REST.
- PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL and/or NoSQL databases Cosmos DB, MongoDB etc.
- Source control using Git and collaborative workflows.
- Exposure to writing unit tests and debugging.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points:
- Prior development experience with .NET & C# on enterprise projects
- HackerRank/Leetcode profiles, GitHub projects, blog posts, open-source work, etc.
Duration of the Internship:
Hybrid Model
- 4 days in a week in office is mandatory.
