Software Engineer Intern

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Orca Cloud, our cloud platform. This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world features and gain hands-on experience across the full web development stack.

The internship period would be from August onwards for a minimum of 6 months full time on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Orca Cloud.
• Build and enhance frontend and backend features.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement scalable and secure solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Express, and SQL.
• Familiarity with modern web development concepts, including:
• Performance optimization
• Web security best practices
• Authentication and authorization
• RESTful APIs
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
