Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role at Meritshot is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The intern will collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and internal tools that support Meritshot's learning and placement platforms. Daily tasks may include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. The intern will work closely with mentors to learn best practices in software development, improve problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to real-world engineering workflows. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to impactful features and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Practical skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++).
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, server-side frameworks, and integration with databases.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them to real-world projects.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, take feedback constructively, and communicate ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Stipend : 20k to 25k in a month, After 6 months PPO 6 to 8 LPA based on performance
