Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend-Focused Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality user interfaces using React and TypeScript. A significant component of this role involves integrating frontend experiences with advanced AI capabilities using the Google AI Development Kit (ADK). The ideal candidate will work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end integration with our Node.js/Express backend.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development:

- Design and implement scalable and responsive UIs using React.js and TypeScript.

- Use Shadcn UI and Radix UI components to build consistent and accessible interfaces.

- Manage state with Redux Toolkit and handle data fetching with TanStack React Query.

- Ensure application reliability through testing, documentation, and clean code practices.

- Configure and optimize frontend build systems using Vite.

AI and Integration:

- Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate agent-driven functionality.

- Build interfaces that translate AI/LLM outputs into intuitive user interactions.

- Leverage the Google AI Development Kit (ADK) for advanced agent-based workflows.

Full-Stack Collaboration:

- Integrate with RESTful APIs and ensure efficient clientserver communication.

- Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to tooling improvements.

- Work closely with Node.js/Express backend teams for seamless product integration.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend Expertise:

- Strong proficiency in React.js, ES6+, and TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with Vite and modern frontend tooling.

- Experience with Shadcn UI and Radix UI component libraries.

- Strong understanding of Tailwind CSS and responsive design.

- Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Query, and React Router DOM.

AI & Agent Experience:

- Experience or strong interest in AI agents or conversational AI.

- Familiarity with Google's AI Development Kit (ADK) is highly valued.

- Ability to build UIs designed around AI/LLM outputs.

General & Backend Familiarity:

- Understanding of JSON and RESTful API structures.

- Familiarity with Node.js, Express, and common database patterns.

- Proficiency with Git version control.

Minimum 1 year of experience (internships count).
